[origin: EP1336808A1] The steel parts (11) used to secure the lining panels (1, 6, 10) to the wall (16), floor or ceiling are concealed from view and are used as mounting aids. A free-flowing fireproof material (18) is cast into the gap between the panels and wall. The lining is formed by panels arranged adjacent and one above the other. The steel parts are secured to the wall and engage with a groove in the upper region of each panel.
