Abstract (en)

[origin: DE10055338C1] Producing a cold strip comprises hot rolling a pre-material produced from a steel containing (in maximum weight %) 0.2 C, 1.0 Si, 1.0 Mn, 0.2 P, 0.2 S, 0.2 Al, 0.02 N, 0.2 Ti, 0.2 V, 0.2 Nb, 0.01 B and balance of Fe to form a hot strip; cold rolling the hot strip to form a cold strip; annealing at temperature lower than recrystallization temperature; cold deforming; and annealing the cold deformed cold strip by further annealing. The pre-material is a slab, thin slab or cast strip. Preferred Features: The steel is a hot steel and the first annealing temperature is 450-550 deg C. Cold deformation is carried out as flexible rolling.
