[origin: WO0240831A1] The invention relates to an arrangement for extinguishing tunnel fires comprising curtains (3) which separate the tunnel (1) into sections (A). Each section is provided with a feeder device for a fire-prevention material and a fire sensor (2), which in case of a fire in a section, closes the curtains (3) in the section where the fire is and the feeder device for the fire-prevention material is actuated in order to supply the fire-prevention material to said section.
