Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0244612A2] The invention relates to a light (1), comprising a light source (5) or connection means for a light source, and a transparent panel (8) which extends crosswise to the direction of emission (15). The aim of the invention is to improve the light (1) in terms of glare suppression. To this end, the transparent panel (8) is provided with a microstructure (15) and light homogenization means (10) are provided. The latter ensure that the brightness of the light entering the panel (8) is approximately equal in all parts of the panel (8).
