[origin: WO0245172A1] The invention relates to a method for generating a tunnel contact and device comprising means for generating a tunnel contact. Ferroelectric materials find application in, amongst others, the semiconductor industry. According to the invention, the above method and device use ferroelectric materials for the production of a tunnel contact. By means of the above method and device a more rapid and more sensitive determination of electrical or electromagnetic signals than with conventional methods and devices is possible.
