[origin: EP1338726A1] The spectator stand has one or more seating stand levels (1-3) mounted over each other at two or more pillars (4) and supports (10). The stand levels swing on one or more points, using fixed or adjustable pivot points (8). The seating stand levels are divided into several neighboring segments, which can swing individually and independently. In a layout of three seating stand levels, the upper and lower stands are shorter then the center stand. The stands are moved by a hydraulic (11) or pneumatic system, or by cables. The longer stand level can also be used as a stadium roof.
