Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1338771A2] Cooling system (1) comprises a cooling module (coolant radiator (2)) connected to an internal combustion engine (5) and a compensator reservoir (6). The cooling module has in its lower region a water box with an outlet (4) indirectly supplying the engine with coolant. Coolant is additionally indirectly fed to the engine from the compensator reservoir and/or a heat exchanger (7) via at least one inlet line (11, 12), which passes through the water box and opens into its outlet. The inlet line of the compensator reservoir and/or the heat exchanger is connected to the water box of the cooling module at the front of the vehicle and opens into an end-side region of the outlet.
