[origin: WO0245543A1] The invention concerns a hair dryer comprising a housing (1) including means for circulating an air stream between an inlet end (4) and an outlet end (5) of said housing, and a device (3) arranged proximate to the outlet end (5) for modifying the air stream outlet cross-section (S), said device comprising at least two flaps (6a, 6b) arranged in the air stream and means for rotating said flaps. The invention is characterised in that said device (3) comprises a tubular nozzle (7) arranged between the two flaps (6a, 6b) and axially mobile relative to said air stream.
