[origin: WO0214775A1] The invention concerns a key-operated sleeve device for locking firearms. The inventive device operates with a key (4) enabling to lock a firearm. Said device consists of an element similar to a cartridge inserted solely in the firearm chamber and provided with a very efficient system for safe and non-aggressive locking of the firearm with a key. The inventive device is particularly designed for locking a firearm in the absence of its owner or without his knowledge.
