The pneumatic hammer mechanism for a hammer drill (1) has a pot-shaped flying piston (2), with a header (3) able to move into the pot cavity within a set length. The header, with the flying piston, forms a damping radial gap (X) for the closed gas-tight pot cavity (4), which reverses the motion within the set length.

Ein pneumatisches Schlagwerk für eine zumindest teilweise schlagende Handwerkzeugmaschine (1) mit einem topfförmigen Flugkolben (2), in dessen Topfraum (4) radial innen ein Döpper (3) innerhalb einer axialen Eindringlänge (L) beweglich eindringt, wobei der Döpper (3) mit dem topfförmigen Flugkolben (2) einen dämpfenden Radialspalt (X) zu dem im wesentlichen gasdicht geschlossenen Topfraum (4) ausbildet, welcher den durch den Flugkolben (2) axial angetriebenen Döpper (3) innerhalb der Eindringlänge (L) zur Bewegungsumkehr zwingt. <IMAGE>
