Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1340944A2] The extraction hood (1) has a filter cartridge (3) detachably fixed to the hood housing (8) by a clip (6) installed on the cartridge for engaging in a slot (7) in the hood housing. The clip is constructed in hook form to create a hinge-type connection with the corresponding opening slot in the hood housing. The filter cartridge has a frame (4) upon which is installed the clip, and may be connected in one piece to the frame or manufactured as a separate part and connected to the frame by riveting and/or welding. An Independent claim is included for the changing or fitting of filters, whereby with fitting the cartridge the clip is first located in a correspondingly constructed opening in the hood housing.
