Abstract (en)
The appliance for the treatment and preparation of foodstuffs has a cooking chamber with a motor driven fan (9) to circulate the atmosphere prevailing within the chamber, a burner (31), and a heat exchanger unit (29) encompassing the fan. The heat exchanger unit has a piping arrangement with at least two and possibly three sets of piping (41) which extend continuously in the fashion of a border or loop around the fan. The pipes extend generally along all four sides of the cooking chamber but not along the burner. An Independent claim is included for a heat exchanger for the aforesaid appliance.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Gerät (1) zum Behandeln und Zubereiten von Nahrungsmitteln mit einem Garraum (5), in dem die Nahrungsmittel behandelt bzw. gegart werden. Das Gerät weist ein motorbetriebenes Lüfterrad (9) auf, das der Umwälzung der Garraumatmosphäre dient und weist weiterhin einen Brenner (31) auf, der zur Verbrennung eines Gas-Luftgemisches dient. Mit Hilfe einer Wärmetauschereinrichtung (29) , die eine Wärmetauscherrohreinrichtung aufweist, die das Lüfterrad (9) umgibt, wird der Garraum beheizt, wobei die Wärmetauscherrohreinrichtung sich dadurch auszeichnet, daß wenigstens zwei Rohrstränge (41) vorgesehen sind, die sich kontinuierlich im wesentlichen in einer Umrandung oder Schleife um das Lüfterrad (9) erstrecken. Die vorliegende Erfindung hat auch eine Wärmetauschereinrichtung zum Gegenstand. <IMAGE>
