Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1340945A1] The appliance for the treatment and preparation of foodstuffs has a cooking chamber with a motor driven fan (9) to circulate the atmosphere prevailing within the chamber, a burner (31), and a heat exchanger unit (29) encompassing the fan. The heat exchanger unit has a piping arrangement with at least two and possibly three sets of piping (41) which extend continuously in the fashion of a border or loop around the fan. The pipes extend generally along all four sides of the cooking chamber but not along the burner. An Independent claim is included for a heat exchanger for the aforesaid appliance.
