Abstract (en)
The hot water boiler for liquid or gaseous fuels has a cylindrical heat transfer medium casing (26) which has a combustion chamber (2) to which is connected a waste heat zone (3). Swirl discs (5) with intermediate spaces (6) are installed one behind the other in the waste heat zone, and ribs (7) are rigidly connected to the heat transfer medium side of the combustion chamber and waste heat zone to promote heat transfer. The first swirl discs in the flow direction of the waste gases may have an insulating layer.

Heizkessel für flüssige und gasförmige Brennstoffe mit einem zylinderförmigen Wärmeträgermantel der eine Brennkammer aufweist, sowie eine an die Bennkammer mittelbar oder unmittelbar anschließende Abhitzezone besitzt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in der Abhitzezone nacheinander angeordnete Wirbelscheiben mit Zwischenräumen angeordnet sind, die mit Hilfe der auf der Wärmeträgerseite der Brennkammer und des Abhitzezone fest verbundene Rippen, wenigstens eine, zur Wärmeübertragung aufweist. <IMAGE>
