[origin: WO0247955A1] The invention relates to an influencing device for the wireless transmission of data signals to a rail vehicle that is approaching at least one railway signal (10), said data signals indicating the signal aspect of the railway signal (10). The aim of the invention is to create an influencing device for trains, which requires minimum maintenance. To achieve this with an influencing device of the aforementioned type, a radio device, which transmits the data signal to the rail vehicle using radio waves, is allocated to the railway signal. For emitting the radio waves, said radio device has at least one directional antenna, whose principal emission lobe is directed towards the area of approach of the train.
