[origin: WO0246815A1] The invention concerns an optical demultiplexing device for separating frequency bands of a frequency-division multiplex, comprising a first cyclic demultiplexer 1 to n for demultiplexing said multiplex into n interleaved frequency combs consisting each of m channels and a second cyclic demultiplexer for separating the channels of said n interleaved combs to obtain m consecutive bands consisting of n consecutive frequencies. The invention is characterised in that said second demultiplexer is a cyclic demultiplexer m to m with n input ports connected respectively to the outlet ports of said first cyclic demultiplexer 1 to n and the numbers n and m are prime numbers between them.
