Abstract (en)
[origin: WO0247085A1] The invention relates to a method for storing acoustic information which is characterized in that the information (1401, 1402, , 1501, 1502, , 1601, ) to be stored is combined to groups (140, 150, 160) and that for every group of information to be stored a group code (141, 151, 161) characterizing said group is stored. The invention further relates to a method for selecting information stored according to the inventive method which is characterized in that after input, preferably speech input via a microphone (11), of a group code, a pertaining group of information is selected. The invention allows particularly fast finding and selection of speech information stored in a speech memory (14).
