[origin: EP1342543A2] The assembly to scatter loose glued material, and especially wood chips for the production of chipboards, has a bunker for the supply and a scattering head with a number of parallel scattering rollers. Each second scattering roller (6) has surface grooves (11) at least partially at an angle (alpha) to a plane (12) which is at right angles to the longitudinal axis (13) of the rollers, and over their whole length. The intermediate rollers have smooth mantle surfaces. The grooves can be ring-shaped or in zigzags in S-shaped paths.
