Abstract (en)
A main beam for partitions comprises a main section member (10) and means (11) for connecting the main section member (10) to the panels (4) and upright posts (3a) of a partition (1). The main section member (10) in cross section (12) has a pair of engagement portions (16) formed along an outer wall (13a) of the section (12), and the connecting means (11) comprises at least one pair of locking elements (23) to be removably engaged in the engagement portions (16); the locking elements (23) have respective locking tailpieces (26) extending from the main section member (10) and facing each other so as to clamp one of the panels (4) of the partition (1) therebetween. <IMAGE>
