Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1343178A1] The cable has a cable core (1-3) with one or more insulated conductors and a sheath (5) enclosing the core. The core has a central element (1) of compressible material, at least two insulated wires (2) and one or more dummy elements (3) arranged with the insulated wires about the central element with a short length of twist of less than 10 D, whereby D is the core diameter. The core is wound with sliding material (4).
