Abstract (en)
The magnetizing head (52) has at least one magnet (53). The magnetizing head is at least L-shaped, especially C-shaped or U-shaped and, especially in its central leg (52a), has a magnet with its pole direction in the direction of this leg. The magnet can be removed from the course of the head, especially from its central leg, and/or can be rotated out of this course. AN Independent claim is also included for the following: a magnetizing arrangement for magnetizing a band-shaped measurement rule and a method of producing an irregular series of magnetic segments on a magnetisable measurement rule.

Zum einfachen Herstellen eines abwechselnd magnetisierten Maßstabes wird z. B. ein C-förmiger Magnetisierungskopf 52 vorgeschlagen, bei dem der magnetische Fluß durch seinen Luftspalt, in dem sich der Maßstab befindet, definiert einund ausgeschaltet werden kann. <IMAGE>
