[origin: EP1344853A1] An open-ended textile spinning assembly has an opening cylinder (1) fitted on mountings with a fixture forming a form-fit join with the core. The fixture is a ring with two end-faces and an essentially cylindrical inner surface with radial centring surfaces (150, 160). The cylindrical inner surface (140) has elongated grooves for locking screws (80). The core has a projection forming the interlocking arrangement between the mounting and base.
