Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1344872A1] The inlet fitting (1) is square in plan view and rectangular in side view. It has a centrally placed cylindrical cavity (4) near the top of the solid block (2) accommodating a cylindrical cartridge. Inlet water may flow up from the bottom surface (12) of the housing, through a vertical bore (6) to a socket space (4a) at the bottom of the cavity. The water flows through a side chamber (7c) into a vertical bore (7a) in one corner of the rectangular block and flows through a further passage (7b) into the cartridge. There is a horizontal water outlet at the top.
