[origin: EP1344880A2] The profiled component part is made from at least one assembly shell (4,7) and a cladding shell (5, 8). The assembly shell can be anchored by fixings on at least a further fence element and cladding shell and assembly shell can be connected together at least in sections. The profiled component can be used as a slatted element or as a cross connecting element or upright post.
