Abstract (en)
The object of the invention is a sliding window or lift sliding window provided with means providing an better water-and-airtightness, more particularly, a bridge structure (20), insuring that incoming water will be collected in a closed space from which it can be expelled via a draining channel. Additionally, two sashes of the window moving relative to one another, are provided with a sash structure (23, 24) which, in a closed condition of the window, is held against the bridge structure (20), with a seal therebetween. <IMAGE>
