Abstract (en)

[origin: WO0249788A1] The invention relates to a forging press in which the tool positions can be quickly and easily adjusted in relation to each other, in spite of low structural cost, and especially due to good accessibility and low fault liability. Said press comprises a support side (100) which is fixed during the deformation process and comprises a matrix (2); an impact side (101) comprising a slide (3) which can move in the longitudinal direction during the deformation process and which comprises a plunger (1); and a first adjustment device (5) which is arranged on the support side of the forging press and is used to adjust the distance of the closing height.
