[origin: WO0250622A1] The invention relates to a device with which a positive pressure is at least temporarily generated in a system (S) with respect to an ambient pressure (U). The device further comprises a pump (P) with a pressure side (20) and an intake side (10). When the positive pressure is generated, the pressure side (20) communicates with the system (S) and the intake side (10) communicates with the ambient pressure via at least one valve (MV1), especially a solenoid valve. The inventive device further comprises means that provide an additional cross-section of the intake volume flow when the positive pressure is generated. The invention further relates to a valve that is especially designed for use together with the inventive device.
