[origin: WO02054552A1] The invention concerns an electric cabinet (1) designed to receive electrical appliances (3) requiring ventilation arranged on a plurality of shelves or stacked on one another by being fixed on the vertical members (2) of the cabinet, each of said appliances being provided with individual ventilating means (9) adapted to circulate air from a front surface towards a rear surface and to evacuate said air behind said rear surfaces. The invention is characterised in that it comprises a ventilating system comprising means for distributing air at each shelf or each row of appliances (3), said means being designed to supply independently at each level a primary air stream circulating substantially horizontally opposite said front surfaces.
