Process for the manufacture of an easy open device for "Flow Pack" or similar packages with a longitudinal seam (12) and transversal closing (13,14), structured horizontally or vertically, with a detachable strip (5), attached in alignment on the internal face of the packaging film (1) by means of an applicator head, to be manually grasped and to result in the tearing of said packages, including the steps of: attaching said strip transversally with respect to the machine direction and to the internal face of the packaging film, and producing a cut (15,18) on at least one end of said detachable strip to generate a tear area <??>An easy open device for packages produced with the process and packages produced with it are also being disclosed. <IMAGE>
