Abstract (en)
A novel ester (I) is the reaction product of: (i) benzoic acid (optionally substituted by 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, halogen, OH, NH2 and/or NO2); with (ii) phenol which is optionally substituted by 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, halogen, NH2 and/or NO2 and which has been reacted with 0.5-6 mols. alkylene oxide per mol. OH group in the phenol. An Independent claim is also included for a dyeing aid including by wt. (A) the novel ester (I) (20-60%) and (B) an ester (20-60%) of benzoic acid (optionally substituted by 1-4C alkyl, 1-4C alkoxy, halogen, OH, NH2 and/or NO2) with a 2-12C diol.

Es wird eine als Färbereihilfsmittel geeignete Zusammensetzung beschrieben, umfassend (a) 20 Gew.-% bis 60 Gew.-%, bezogen auf die Zusammensetzung, Ester von mit C1-C4-Alkyl, C1-C4-Alkoxy, Halogen, OH, NH2 und/oder NO2 substituierter oder unsubstituierter Benzoesäure und C2-C12-Diol und (b) 20 Gew.-% bis 60 Gew.-%, bezogen auf die Zusammensetzung, Ester von mit C1-C4-Alkyl, C1-C4-Alkoxy, Halogen, OH, NH2 und/oder NO2 substituierter oder unsubstituierter Benzoesäure und mit C1-C4-Alkyl, C1-C4-Alkoxy, Halogen, NH2 und/oder NO2 substituiertem oder unsubstituiertem Phenol, das mit 0,5 bis 6 Mol Alkylenoxid pro Mol OH-Gruppe des Phenols umgesetzt ist. Des weiteren betrifft die Anmeldung den Ester (b).
