[origin: EP1347100A1] The equipment, staffed by a number of operatives (O, O1, O2, O3), consists of a first machine (M) with storage (4) and manipulating (5) systems for the safety barrier rails (G), a second machine (M1) for storing supporting posts and driving them into the ground, and a trailer (M2) for spacers (E). The first and second machines can be coupled in line, and at least one has a propulsion system for moving the equipment along the safety rail installation line.
