Abstract (en)
An article carrier for a plurality of containers having a curved wall surface such as bottles or cans (B) in which a discrete wall portion (36, 38, 40) of the carrier is secured to each of the containers in the carrier, each discrete portion being frangibly connected (36f, 36ff) to adjacent parts of the carrier, the arrangement being such that when a container is removed from the carrier its discrete portion of the carrier remains attached thereto to serve as a label. <??>Blanks suitable for constructing such a carrier, and containers whose curved side walls are labelled with such a discrete wall portion are also described. <??>A convenient means for applying a label to a container having a curved wall surface is described, and a package is provided from which individual containers can be removed on a one-by-one basis without disruption to the integrity of the package after each successive removal. <IMAGE>
