[origin: EP1348665A2] The folding machine has a cross fold module (10) supported by the machine frame, provided with a deposition plane for the supplied paper and a pair of elongate side stops (30) extending in the paper feed direction, with a folding device (FS) above the deposition plane cooperating with a pair of folding rollers below the latter. The cross fold module is mounted in a frame (12) which is displaced relative to the machine frame transverse to the paper feed direction.
