[origin: EP1348821A2] The attachment element (10) has a holding plate (12) that is applied to a roof sheet and an anchoring element (14) that is passed through the sheet to be anchored to a base so as to join the holding plate to the base. The holding plate has a metal grid and a number of anchoring elements are arranged at a distance apart in the longitudinal direction of the grid strips. Independent claims are also included for the following: an arrangement for attaching the edge of a roof sheet and a method of attaching roof sheets.
