Abstract (en)
[origin: CA2416965A1] A timepiece to be worn by pilots of aircraft which provides a means to alert the pilot of multiple sequenced event occurrences, in a failsafe manner, via multiple alarm means including visual (29-32), auditory (36), and tactile (3 7) ability. The six in-flight timers (61-65), accessible through buttons (1-4), allow the pilot comprehensive user programmable features in order to meet th e needs of a given flight. The watch also provides instant access to Zulu time and all forty two zones around the world. The watch is designed to assist th e pilot in his awareness of engine time, countdown run time, fuel tank switchi ng time, final approach fix to missed approach point time, countdown to instrument flight rule minimums, time to fix, timed turns, holding patterm timing, and time to close flight plan.
