[origin: WO02055154A1] The invention relates to a fire-fighting device comprising an extinguishing nozzle (4), which is connected to an extinguishing fluid supply (3) via a pipe (2), and comprising an alarm device (5), which emits a warning signal upon commencement of an extinguishing operation. A device of this type reduces the risk of the occurrence of leakages and ensures an effective alarm signaling within the surrounding area upon commencement of the extinguishing operation. To this end, the alarm device (5) has a switching device, which can be pressure-actuated, which is connected to the pipe (2), and which activates the warning signal in the event of an increase in pressure prevailing inside the pipe (2).
