Abstract (en)
[origin: WO02053697A1] A laundry cleaning agent is made by pelletising a flowable tower spray powder and a flowable zeolitic powder in a pellet mill to form a premix composed of pellets with a substantial zeolite content; and post-mixing the pellets with further ingredients. The resulting particulate material may be used as such, but is preferably pressed to form laundry tablets. When manufactured by this method, the laundry tablets may have an exceptional combination of beneficial properties, namely very high density, high zeolite content and a low amount of disentegrant, all of which would normally lead disintegration time; and yet, unexpectedly, the tablets exhibit a short disintegration time, and other valuable properties.
