Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1350599A2] Method for cutting profiles (18) on workpieces (16) using a rotating circumferential cutting disk (10) that is moved along a profile path using a CNC controller. The cutting disk itself has a curved profile in a direction perpendicular to its circumference. During cutting the disk is pivoted about an axis (20) perpendicular to its rotation axis (14) and perpendicular to the disk advance direction (v).
