The camshaft assembly has lubricating oil passage (9) with an outlet on the bearing face of the camshaft bearing (4,6,8). At least one axially extending slot (10,10b) is provided in the corresponding bearing face of the camshaft (1a) and which communicates with the outlet of the lubricating oil passage during the corresponding angular position of the camshaft and which has an outlet in the region outside the bearing face.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Lager (4, 6, 8) für eine Nockenwelle (1a), mit der Ventile (2) einer Brennkraftmaschine betätigt werden. Das Nockenwellenlager (4, 6, 8) weist einen Schmiermittelkanal (9) für die Zufuhr von Schmieröl auf, welcher an der Lagerfläche endet. Die Nockenwelle (1a) besitzt zwei in Axialrichtung verlaufende Nuten (10a, 10b), in welche intermittierend aus dem Schmiermittelkanal (9) Schmieröl eintritt, welches dann in Axialrichtung verspritzt bzw. verteilt wird. Auf diese Weise können auch solche Ventilstößel geschmiert werden, die nicht unmittelbar neben dem Nockenwellenlager (4, 6, 8) angeordnet sind. <IMAGE>
