Abstract (en)

The coaxial connector has an inner conductor (14,16) and an outer conductor (18), the capacitor (20) of the overvoltage protection coupled in series with the inner conductor and having opposing capacitor plates (22,24) coupled to respective inner conductors for the input (10) and output (12) of the connector. The overvoltage protection also employs an inductance provided by an axial coil (26), positioned coaxial to the inner conductor, one coil end coupled to one capacitor plate, the other coil end coupled to the outer conductor.

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Koaxialverbinder mit einem Innenleiter, einem Außenleiter und einem Überspannungsschutz mit einer Induktivität nach Masse und einem Kondensator, wobei der Kondensator in Serie mit dem Innenleiter geschaltet ist und eine erste Kondensatorplatte aufweist, welche mit einem ersten Innenleiter eines Eingangs des Koaxialverbinders verbunden ist, und eine zweite Kondensatorplatte aufweist, welche mit einem zweiten Innenleiter eines Ausgangs des Koaxialverbinders verbunden ist. Hierbei ist die Induktivität als Axialspule ausgebildet sowie koaxial zum Innenleiter angeordnet, wobei ein erstes Ende der Axialspule mit der ersten Kondensatorplatte verbunden ist und ein zweites, dem Kondensator abgewandtes Ende der Axialspule an einer axial in Richtung Eingang des Koaxialverbinders beabstandeten Stelle mit dem Außenleiter verbunden ist. <IMAGE>
