[origin: WO02055292A1] The invention concerns a device for forming and folding a rectangular or square packaging box from a pre-cut and flat pre-folded cardboard sheet, comprising: a base (14) supporting a frame having an orifice (22) in the central part, a first pair of actuating elements mounted pivoting on said base (14) being symmetrically arranged on either side of the orifice (22) to actuate the two lateral flaps (36a, 36b), a second pair of actuating elements mounted pivoting on said base (14) for actuating the two transverse flaps (38a, 38b), a stop element (16) for manually shaping the box (12), and means for successively driving the two pairs of actuating elements for automatic folding of said flaps when forming the base of the box.
