[origin: EP1352870A1] The device (23) for raising the crane comprising a foldable mast (7) composed of two elements (8,9) and a jib (14) composed of several successive elements (15,16,17) comprises a double acting actuator (24). The actuator connects a lower connecting rod assembly (25) to an upper connecting rod assembly (26). The lower assembly is connected to the lower part of the mast upper element (9) and the upper part of the mast lower element (8). The upper assembly is connected to the upper part of the upper mast element and to the foot of the jib (15).
