Abstract (en)
[origin: DE10216425C1] Insulation glazing has a holding system with at least two glass panes. One outer surface (2a) of one glass pane (2a') forms the facade outer side and the other outer surface (2b) of one glass pane (2b') forms the facade inner side. The glass panes are joined via spacers (3) so that a hollow space (4) is formed between the panes. A support construction (11) with holders is provided for the insulation glazing. The holders interact directly on the glass pane which forms the facade inner side. A supporting element (10) connects the support construction via the insulation glazing and supports the glass pane forming facade outer side. The supporting element partially encompasses both glass panes. Preferred Features: The supporting element has a longitudinal connecting element, preferably made from a wire element of metal or plastic, which encompasses the insulation glazing in a corner in a close strip.
