[origin: EP1353035A2] The window or door has a frame of a polymer material, with at least one inner hollow chamber (10) which holds an adhesive (4,41) to secure an inserted glass pane (3) or insulating glass pane or wood panel, so that the end side (30) is bonded to the frame (1) by the material and in a force fit. The dimensions of the hollow holding zone are set so that the forces exerted on the pane or panel are transferred directly to the frame, and heat convection is reduced.
