Abstract (en)
The pump has at least two pump elements (3) for delivering fuel into a high-pressure connection (25) and at least one controlable hydraulic connection (29) between two pump elements. The hydraulic connection is controled by at least one control valve, especially a 2/2-way valve. Several control valves can be arranged in parallel and operated by an actuator, especially an electromagnetic actuator or a piezoelectric actuator.
