Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1353113A2] In a system to discharge a bulk cargo of pressurised liquid gas from a ship's tanks (1), at least one of the tanks (1) is equipped with a pump (3) and one further tank (2) has no pump. A suction pipe (4) draws gas from the first tank (1) to a compressor (5) discharging via a pressure pipe (6) to the second tank (2). A further pipe (7) transfers liquid gas from the second tank (2) to the first tank (1). Liquid gas is transferred from the first tank via a pipe (8) to the shore (9).
