Abstract (en)
The oval wrist watch has an offset circular watch movement (5) and a disc indicating the phases of the moon (16). The disc is driven in a stepping mode by the watch movement via a pivot element (35). The wrist watch comprises an ovoid casing which accommodates a circular watch movement (5) which is offset from the center along the major axis of the ovoid. At the other end of this major axis there is a disc indicating the phases of the moon (16) and an indicator showing the reserve of energy for operating the watch. The lunar disc is driven in a stepping mode by the watch movement via a pivot element (35) have a point (43) which engages external teeth (44) on the disc. The pivot element extends along the side of the body of the watch, where there is also an actuator (P) which may be used to correct the display, without any interference between the two actions.

La montre décrite a une boîte de forme ovoïde, dans laquelle un mouvement d'horlogerie circulaire (5) est disposé de manière décentrée, du côté de l'extrémité de plus grand rayon de la boîte. Du côté de l'autre extrémité se trouvent un disque indicateur de phases de lune (16) et un indicateur de réserve de marche de la montre. Le disque de lune est entraîné pas à pas par le mouvement (5) via une bascule (35) ayant un bec (43) qui attaque une denture extérieure (44) du disque. Cette bascule s'étend au moins en partie le long d'un bord de la boîte, où est monté un poussoir de correction qui peut actionner (P) la bascule dans le même sens que l'entraînement par le mouvement, ce qui évite toute interférence entre les deux actions. <IMAGE>
