Abstract (en)
Electrical voting method in which a portable voting device is used and voting undertaken by pressing keys (20-23) in conjunction with voting choices shown on a screen. The vote entries are transmitted wireless to a central polling and evaluation unit. According to the method the central polling and interrogation unit transmits the polling questions to the voting devices prior to voting, the displays show the choices on the screen together with requirements for voting and after successful vote transfer to the central unit, it is confirmed on the screen. The invention also relates to a corresponding electronic voting system.

In einem elektronischen Abstimmungsverfahren werden Stimmabgaben zu einer Abstimmungsfrage über Eingabetasten (20, 21, 22, 23) in portable Abstimmungsgeräte (G) eingegeben. Jedes Abstimmungsgerät (G) zeigt die in dieses Gerät (G) eingegebenen Stimmabgaben auf einem Display (3) an und übermittelt per Funk die in dieses Abstimmungsgerät (G) eingegebenen Stimmabgaben nach einer individuellen, per Funk übermittelten Aufforderung durch eine zentrale Abfrage- und Auswerteeinheit (Z) an diese zentrale Einheit (Z). Die zentrale Einheit (Z) übermittelt dabei die entsprechende Abstimmungsfrage vorgängig an die Abstimmungsgeräte (G), welche sie gleichzeitig mit einer Aufforderung zur Stimmabgabe auf dem Display (3) anzeigen. Nach Übermittlung der Stimmabgabe an die zentrale Abfrage- und Auswerteeinheit (Z) erscheint eine Bestätigung auf dem Display (3). Dadurch wird jeder Benützer einerseits angeleitet, wie er das Gerät benützen soll. Ferner erhält er eine Zusicherung, dass seine Stimme auch tatsächlich berücksichtigt worden ist. <IMAGE>
