The device has at least one movable and at least two fixed contact parts connected to an installation switch/further auxiliary switches, has an actuating lever with on and off positions, can be operated in signal or auxiliary contact switch modes and has a test button(s) for checking its function or that of at least one auxiliary current circuit. Its actuating device is in the form of a switching mechanism that acts on a contact spring. The device has at least one movable (10) and at least one first (111) and second (112) fixed contact part connected via coupling elements to an installation switch or further auxiliary switches, has an actuating lever that can adopt switched on and switched off positions, can be operated in signal contact switch or auxiliary contact switch modes and has at least one test button for checking its function or that of at least one auxiliary current circuit. The actuating device for the auxiliary switch is in the form of a switching mechanism (200) that acts on a contact spring (113) via a drive lever (250). Independent claims are also included for the following: a switching mechanism for an inventive device and an installation device with one or more inventive devices.

Es wird ein an einen Installationsschalter, insbesondere einen Installationsselbstschalter anbaubarer Hilfsschalter beschrieben, der wenigstens ein an einer Kontaktfeder angebrachtes bewegliches und wenigstens ein erstes und ein zweites festes Kontaktstück aufweist, ferner einen Betätigungshebel und eine Betätigungseinrichtung zur Beaufschlagung der Kontaktfeder, wobei die Betätigungseinrichtung des Hilfsschalters aus einem Schaltwerk gebildet ist, das über einen Mitnahmehebel die Kontaktfeder beaufschlagt, so daß in einem ersten Schaltwerkszustand das bewegliche Kontaktstück mit dem zweiten feststehenden Kontaktstück in elektrischen Kontakt gebracht wird, und in wenigstens einem zweiten Schaltwerkszustand der Mitnahmehebel vom Schaltwerk wieder freigegeben wird, wobei ferner der Hilfsschalter zwei Prüftasten aufweist, die von Hand oder mittels eines Werkzeugs betätigbar sind, und daß jeder der beiden Prüftasten ein Schaltwerkszustand zugeordnet ist, aus dem durch ein Betätigen der Prüftaste das Schaltwerk in den jeweils anderen Zustand übergeht, ohne dabei die Stellung des Betätigungshebels zu beeinflussen. <IMAGE>
