Abstract (en)

[origin: FR2820080A1] The invention concerns a liquid ink writing article having a body which comprises internally, from the rear to the front, an ink reservoir wherein there are a capillary element for transferring ink coming from the reservoir and a writing head, supplied with ink by the capillary element and emerging outside the front part of the body. The reservoir (3) is separated from the front chamber (6) by a shape-memory flexible wall provided with slots (16), acting as valve (13), designed to open when the ratio (A) of pressure (P1) inside the reservoir (3) over the pressure (P2) inside the volume of the front chamber (6) opposite said valve (13) is higher than a first value (A1) and close instantaneously when said ratio (A) is not more than a second value (A2), releasing ink in the form of a jet directed on the rear surface (7a) of the capillary element (7): The article comprises means for pressurising the reservoir. The front chamber communicates with ambient air. Preferably, the first value (A1) of the ratio (A) of pressures (P1/P2) is of the order of 1.07 and the second value (A2) of said ratio (A) is of the order of 1.05.
